Licensed Mental Health Clinician

Fully-Licensed Clinician (W-2 Employee)

Here are the must haves:

A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work

A License in the state of Missouri to practice therapy

A willingness to work at least 20 hours per week

Ability to market yourself and establish connections in the community to build your practice (don't worry…we're marketing on your behalf as well)

Here's how you stand out:

You have an independent license (you're done with those pesky provisional hours)

You have a specialty or niche like Play Therapy, EMDR, or a Marriage and Family License

You are able to balance the demands of both “peopling” and paperwork

You desire to work in a team environment where you can learn and grow but also bring your mad skills and unique gift-set to help your team flourish as well

Here's what we're bringing to the table:

Competitive salary: It's hard to determine a range because you'll work on a commission scale. We estimate you'll earn between 50K-70K per year depending on the amount you work.

W-2 Employee, not an Independent Contractor: Don't worry about those cumbersome self-employment taxes…you'll be an employee of CarePoint and as such we’ll manage tax payments on your behalf.

Flexible Work Environment: We want to see your shining face in the office, but once you're established, you'll have the option to do remote sessions from the comfort of your own home. We have a hybrid work environment here. But wait, there's more! You also get to set your own hours at CarePoint!

Health Insurance: We know exceptional clinical care for your clients begins with good self-care. As such, eligible employees can sign up for our health, dental, and vision plans.

Retirement Match: We hope you stick around for a long time, but we know you won't work forever. We offer up to a 3% match on your retirement contributions.

Full Administrative Support: Nobody (and we mean nobody) likes to deal with insurance companies and paperwork! Thankfully, we have administrative ninjas who slay administrative tasks like billing, dealing with insurance claims, and scheduling.

In-House Continuing Education: Proficient counselors are always growing and we want to help you with that! CarePoint is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider and we offer seminars from time to time. CarePoint employees attend these seminars for free! In addition to this, we provide a stipend each year for other trainings you might want to attend. Like to teach? Earn extra income by becoming one of our speakers!

Collaborative Team Culture: Did we mention we believe we heal by connecting? We enjoy having fun together, celebrating birthdays, frolicking to area events, and having authentic conversations with one another. We also love growing together as therapists. We have regular consultation groups, observations of sessions, and we lovingly explore our countertransference together. Pre-licensed individuals also have the benefit of included, in-house supervision at no additional cost.
