Berry Household - Personal Care Attendant
My name is Brittany and I am looking for 3-4 female personal care attendants to assist me in my daily routine starting, would like to get candidates hired and trained as soon as possible. Morning duties include making breakfast and getting me dressed, and evening routine includes making dinner, assisting with shower and bed routine.
The person will help with morning and/or evening routines at my apartment in downtown Columbia which is within walking distance of campus. All days and shifts needed, so schedule is flexible. Times could be subject to change based on my employment hours. There might be an opportunity for Wednesday and Friday at 4:00 for transportation to an appointment. There is an immediate need for Tuesday mornings and Fridays, and possibly some weekend help as well. One position would start immediately after Spring Break and the other would start in May!
Pay $10 per hour. Interview will initially be with me, and then remaining hiring processes will go through Advantage Nursing (will need to apply through them to be hired). Will then shadow a current PCA through their routine.
Person must like dogs as I have a canine companion. Applicants must be respectful, reliable, highly organized, communicate effectively, able to work as a team, and must be able to pass a background check.
Could be considered for summer internship credit, you will need to consult with your department to determine eligibility.
