Test Proctors

MU Testing Services is seeking student proctors for our large test administrations. Some dates we would need you to work are: Saturday, March 24th; Monday, June 11th; Saturday, August 11th; Saturday, September 8th; Saturday, November 10th; and Saturday, December 17th.

These administrations are conducted on Saturdays because it is more convenient for both Mizzou students, and other test candidates who travel to our campus from the surrounding area(s) to take the LSAT (Law School Admission Test), and MPRE (Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam - - essentially the ethics portion of the Bar exam).

Proctors are contracted by the Law School Admission Council as employees for the day, compensated directly by LSAC, after completing a voucher with the pertinent information for payment (pay for a proctor is $100/flat rate, per test administration).

The total work day for the LSAT is approximately seven (7) hours from beginning to end, arriving at 7:30 AM. And the total work day for the MPRE (ethics portion of the bar exam) is approximately four (4) hours. Both exams are administered in the Physics Building.

**One very important thing to note: Anyone who plans to take the LSAT within 24 months of having been a proctor or supervisor must notify the Law School Admission Council upon registering for the test. When/if that is the case, LSAC will review the request and either honor the registration or offer an alternative test center and/or date. Failure to abide by this requirement may result in the initiation of a misconduct proceeding.

Preference given to juniors, seniors, and/or graduate students.

Potential proctors are welcome to email Khesha Dunan at: duncankr@missouri.edu, to express interest, ask questions, and/or request any additional information. Resumes are appreciated.
