Office of Undergraduate Studies Communications Internship

OBJECTIVE
The objective is to incorporate students into the publicizing and promotion of the success stories at the University of Missouri. The program also serves as a learning tool for students, who will gain experience in their fields of study.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Interns will be responsible for producing features showcasing the accomplishments, talents and success at MU. The features will include text, video, audio and/or photos. They will work with Josh Murray (Strategic Communications, Office of Undergraduate Studies) and will collaborate with the University of Missouri’s Marketing and Communications division, along with working with the Office of Undergraduate Studies and the undergraduate programs.

HOURS PER WEEK
Students will be required to work 8-10 hours a week. That will include office hours and time spent working on projects outside of the office.

TERM
This position is for the Fall 2018 semester, with an option to continue for future semesters.

ELIGIBLITY

A student must carry at least a 2.75 GPA. Year in school is not limited.

PAYMENT
Payment is at a rate of $8.50/hour.
