OMNI Channel Data Specialist

About the Team

You will be a part of the Merchandising team, responsible for managing and inputting promo and price changes for all departments in the division. You will work directly with the Assistants, Associates and Buyers on the team as well as the Inventory partners to align on key deliverables and execute daily to meet the demands of the business. The role is dynamic and requires someone who can work both independent and cross functionally and has meticulous work and great time management skills.

About the Role

The OMNI Channel Data Specialist reports to the DMM or Buyer and provides support and coordination for the merchandise team for the retail and DTC channels. This position manages all pricing updates and promotion changes, and markdowns for all designated categories as required. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to foster relationships with cross-functional teams and peers to deliver results. A candidate in this role will learn the foundations of how the businesses operate, and will interact with other members of the merchandising and planning teams.

  • Enter and maintain all price and cost changes for DTC and Retail, working closely with inventory partners and sourcing teams.
  • Communicate as needed with the merchandise team regarding Promotion changes and costing/SKU worksheets.
  • Update SKU details as the assortment changes on the individual and collection level.
  • Enter POS Markdowns and Promotions.
  • Track and open packages and samples; coordinate movement of merchandise to sample rooms.
  • General administrative duties.

  • Previous experience in data entry and administration.
  • Strong systems aptitude and deep experience in data entry
  • Excel skills; experience in PLM SKU lifecycle system preferred.
  • Experience in operations preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter and problem solver; strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Retail experience a plus

Technical Competencies required:

  • Understanding of retail math
  • Comfortable learning new systems and tools
  • Deep understanding and use of Excel and its functionalities
