My name is Colton Rich I am a first year Masters student in the Health Administration program. I have Cerebral Palsy that affects all four of my extremities; I use a power wheelchair for mobility. I’m an active 23-year old who likes to keep busy and enjoys the outdoors. This job opportunity will give you great experience and you will make it possible for me to continue living independently. Personal Attendant (PA)
Job Description
I. Required: Applicants must be 18 years or older, with a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. For this position, no experience is required for this position. Just someone who is eager to learn and willing to listen and understand how I do things.
III. Duties Attendant is Required: (May vary)
1) All aspects of personal hygiene
2) assist with bathroom needs
3) Getting ready for the day
5) Cleaning living area
6) Assist with transfers using transfer assistant device- NO LIFTING REQUIRED
7) Dressing and undressing
8) Assist with service dog
9) Shopping and errands
10) Assist with manual motor/fine motor tasks
11) Assist with manual motor tasks
12) Assist with tasks relating to access of environment - including mobility
13) Attend and assist with recreational activities (i.e. Swimming, etc.)
14) Other tasks not listed above which might arise on a day to day basis

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, and a willingness listen and learn.
