Engineer Intern

OCCI, Inc. internship is designed to provide a practical, hands-on experience for an Engineer in training. The internship experience is working alongside our existing project management teams and construction crew at one of our project sites to gain field experience and a better understanding of the work we do as a company. This internship does require travel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Learning Construction Methods and executing work plans in the field

Safety planning and implementation

Owner correspondence development

Quality control on all aspects of the work / structures

Surveying

Budgeting, purchasing and materials management

Subcontractor and vendor management

Material procurement and Inventory

Understanding crew leadership and development

Schedule development and maintenance
