Development Intern
This whip-smart fundraiser will work closely with True/False’s Development Director to learn the ins & outs of nonprofit development. The development intern will work closely on Ragtag Film Society’s annual year-end campaign and additional fundraising efforts throughout the 2018-2019 season. In additional to individual giving, the development intern will work with the Development Director to seek out new funding opportunities through grants and foundations.
Duties:
- Work with the Development Director to coordinate Ragtag Film Society’s annual appeal throughout November and December
- Assist in cultivating donor relationships
- Assist in donor communications (including information about giving opportunities, donor benefits, and acknowledgment of gifts)
- Assist in creation of promotional materials about giving opportunities
- Grant and foundation research
Time Commitment:
Approximately 5-10 hours per week. Must be available the entirety of weekend of the fest (Feb 27 - Mar 3, 2019) and the few days prior.
