We are Auragent Bioscience, a recent start-up in the St. Louis area focused on developing novel technology for transforming bio-detection and bio-imaging. Our patent-pending intellectual property is based on work done in collaboration between the School of Engineering and the School of Medicine at Washington University, St. Louis, MO.
The details of the job are provided below. 
Job Summary
Will work directly with Chief Scientific Officer and Director of Research and Applications to set research direction, design and perform experiments, and perform general laboratory duties in a research setting including: prepare required lab solutions/reagents, synthesize various size- and shape-controlled organic and inorganic nanostructures, fabricate thin elastomeric films, perform standard bioassays such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, analyze data, maintain accurate laboratory records, order lab supplies, organize data into presentations for periodic meetings, and perform other job-related duties as required. 
Required qualifications
·       Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in chemistry, biology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, chemical engineering, bioanalytical chemistry or related disciplines.
·       Strong academic credentials and experimental skills.
·       Ability to work in a team environment and ability to communicate effectively. 
·       Interest in learning and applying new synthesis and bioanalytical techniques.
