JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a passionate Campus Marketer to recruit college graduates into the Revature Immersive Training Program offered at Mizzou. Revature provides online coding training to college students and recent college grads so that they can enter into software engineering career opportunities.The training focuses on next-gen and niche technology through engaging online programs and a world class immersive, industry aligned coding academy.
 
The successful candidate will be located on campus at the MU Career Center and will be able to build relationships with faculty and prospective students through a consultative approach that helps build awareness of Revature’s online coding training. You will be responsible for promoting Revature to the MU campus community and recruiting qualified graduates from MU and other local universities to Revature’s online and immersive training program.

You DO NOT need to have technical or software background! We will train you on how to discuss and present the Revature training programs. We need people who like to and are skilled at:
  • Making connections with individuals
  • Creating relationships with others
  • Making presentations to groups
  • Implementing a strategic communication plan
  • Assessing, refining and reporting on your marketing efforts

WAGE/HOURS:
Students will earn $9.50-$11.50/hour depending on experience. You will work 4-12 hours per week (40 hours a month) and this position requires that you work predominantly during normal business hours. Hours are somewhat flexible (dependent on scheduled info table/presentations/meetings).

The position is available during the academic calendar (fall and spring semesters). Candidates will be hired and ideally trained this Spring and will begin role in Fall Semester 2019 (August).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
●       Lead and/or support information sessions about the Revature offerings at various MU campus locations.
●       Assist in driving a marketing strategy to contact and help qualified prospective students to move forward by contacting them via the phone, email, social media campaigns, webinars, and SMS in a professional, compliant, and positive manner.
●       Demonstrate a high level of Revature product/program knowledge to meet specific student recruitment goals.
●       Represent the Revature offerings accurately with a special emphasis on program details.
●       Build trusting relationships with faculty, program chairs, and deans to help drive awareness of Revature’s online and immersive programs across a diverse prospective student population.
●       Enter all correspondence and necessary information related to a case into the contact management system (currently Salesforce.com).
●       Project, assess and report on student likelihood to retain and succeed.
●       Perform related duties as requested.
 
Travel
Occasional travel to other local universities, so transportation is required. All travel is reimbursed.
 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
●       Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
●       Students must be able to make a minimum commitment of two semesters
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
●       Prior work experience in education, marketing/promotions, business, recruiting, sales, services, counseling, customer service or other related field.
●       Knowledge of college and higher education programs and curricula.
●       Ability to maintain confidentiality.
●       Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
●       Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once while remaining composed.
●       Ability to think strategically and creatively about how to manage a large roster of students (strong analytical skills a plus).
●       Strong verbal communication skills both via phone and in-person.
●       Strong written communication skills including emails, texts, etc.
●       Technology savvy; ability to use contact management software and mobile applications.
●       Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
●       Self-starter who advocates for his/her needs.
●       Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
●       Ability to cultivate strong interpersonal student and co-worker relationships, goal oriented and a record of exceeding expectations.
●       Strong expertise with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, efficient in learning new software.
●       US Citizen (at this time we cannot sponsor any international students in this role)
