Web Support Graduate Library Assistant

Hours per week: 20 hours minimum

Duties include:
·        Providing LibGuide troubleshooting & support
·        Assists in running & analyzing LibGuide & website analytics
·        Has working knowledge of HTML/CSS
·        Provides reference service in all forms
·        Some evening/weekend hours may be required
 
Details:
·        Help librarians create/update LibGuides (work on special coding and styling as necessary)
·        Maintain and keep up with cross-functionality of various LibApp Tools on the guides as well as on the website.
·        Continual iterative redesign projects
o  Implement and follow web stats on Web pages that have LibGuide/webpage mixed functionality (both Google analytics and Crazy Egg) as needed for projects and work with librarians
o  Work on mockups and redesigns of webpages with LibGuide/webpage mixed functionality
o  Work with library/departments on Google analytics dashboard designs and Crazy Egg snapshots as needed in their areas
o  Keep up with link checking using the link checker tool on LibGuides
o  Update code and styling on guides with special functionality like widgets and search boxes
·        Keep with SpringShare stats
·        Train other GA’s on SpringShare products
·        Keep up with Springshare updates
·        Keep up with web and LibGuide tools and trends

You must be registered as a full-time student in SISLT for the employment period to qualify for this position.
