Social Media & Marketing Manager
- Tiger Garden is a student-operated floral shop located in the Agriculture building in the middle of campus! We are always looking for student employees who are eager to learn, team-oriented, take initiative, and want hands-on experience.
- We currently have this position filled by a student that graduates in May 2019. We are looking for someone to work with her as a team until then, and then take over her duties.
- Responsibilities of this position:
- Create graphics for social media and marketing promotions
- Manage/create posts for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (1-2x+ per week)
- Keep up to date on new social media features and trends, and incorporate into promotions/posts
- Help brainstorm, create, and execute marketing plans throughout the calendar year
- Work independently, sometimes outside of normally scheduled work hours, to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Occasionally help other divisions within Tiger Garden with their platforms, potentially including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Wordpress, Pinterest, Flickr, and more
- Keep our e-commerce website up to date (uploading new product pictures and descriptions, rotating available products, making the consumer experience as pleasing as possible)
- Normal shop employee duties as requested (working with customers, driving deliveries, cleaning, etc.)
