Afterschool Child Care Provider - Temporary Position

My wife and I are looking for one or more students to help out for a few weeks and provide after school child care for our fifth grader and transportation for our high schooler. We are looking for someone to work from January 3rd to January 18th, Monday through Friday, from approximately 3:00 p.m. until around 5:00 p.m. We are open to hiring someone who can cover only a few of those days. 

We also have the same job available for the spring semester, but only Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Our youngest son is autistic. He will need to be picked up from school at around 3:00 p.m. The care provider will then travel to pick up our oldest son at his school by 3:30 p.m. The care provider will then take both kids to our home, provide our youngest snacks, and play with our younger son until my wife or I arrive a little after 5:15 p.m. 

Our younger son loves to play outside and we have a spacious fenced in back yard with a play set. We also have a small park near our home. His disabilities make it hard for him to communicate verbally and to perform some fine and gross motor tasks. He uses some limited verbal communication and a communication device. He still needs help in the bathroom and with dressing. Our son is extremely easy going. Provide a snack and his iPad and he is happy. 

In our home, we have a yellow Labrador, a young Boxer/Shepard mixed breed dog, and a cat. The cat is friendly and the dogs are really friendly. Our older Lab is great with caregivers but she is slowing with age. The younger dog is quite active and great with people. 

The childcare provider must have a car for transportation and a good driving record. We will reimburse mileage at $0.30 per mile. We pay an hourly rate of $14 per hour. 

There will be opportunities to work weekends but these extra days will not be required.
