Set Construction Director | Maplewood Barn Theatre

The Set Construction Director will direct and oversee the set construction requirements of the Maplewood Barn Community Theatre for all productions during the 2019 Season. This will include designing and building sets for each of our four outdoor performances; and smaller indoor sets for three of the shows. It also includes taking down each outdoor set after a performance has closed.

Application deadline is January 19th, 2019. This is a stipend position and the Set Construction Director will be hired to work for our entire season. Construction can take place at Set Construction Director's discretion during the day or on the weekends. Cast and crew members can be available to volunteer their time to assist with the set builds and strikes

Sets for each show need to be constructed before the dates listed below:

First performance: Opens: 4-18-19 & closes: 5-2-19

Second performance: Opens: 5-30-18 and Closes: 6-16-19

Third performance: Opens: 7-11-19 and Closes: 7-28-19

Fourth performance: Opens: 8-22-19 and Closes: 9-8-19
