Regional Brewery Manager

Based Out of Kansas City
Job Summary: 
A Regional Brewer at Granite City Brewery is responsible for ensuring proper adherence to brewery standards, procedures, 
and product in support of our unique brewing process. Granite City is first and foremost a craft brewery with a menu 
that reflects and enhances this distinction and Cadillac Ranch a high energy, fun and entertaining casual dining concept. 
The Regional Brewer works in partnership with restaurant General Managers to ensure a consistent, high quality product, 
reflective of Granite City’s high standards, is being served to our guests. Developing positive and supportive 
relationships with store and brewing teams is key along with supporting our brand purpose “To Build and Foster a 
Community of Craft Beer Fans for Life.” Having knowledge of craft brewing and a passion for the craft beer 
industry is critical for this role.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Lead the Brewing Operations for the 3 Kansas City Area Granite City locations.
During regular store visits to satellite locations, provide guidance to store management and brewery teams on brewery 
operations to support cleanliness, quality assurance, and inventory management.
Conducts cleanliness inspections according to standards and provides direction to correct as needed.
Inspects equipment and monitors maintenance in accordance with regular schedules to ensure all equipment is being 
maintained to minimize future mechanical breakdowns and/or bacterial infection.
Partners with store management and brewery teams to ensure proper adherence to SOPs and safety requirements.
Evaluates beer on tap for quality and consistency and provides feedback to the Brewery Managers, VP Brew-Master and 
brew house on opportunities to improve or maintain the quality of the beer.
Leads the training of all new Brewery Managers.
Reports and approves weekly beer volumes, beer costs, tap waste, and production loss for each location.
Develops and brews new beer recipes for testing and evaluation purposes.
This position may also be required to assist the Brew-Master and brew house with any new store openings.
Supports initiatives to grow beer sales and control beer costs in each location.
Supports stores at local events such as beer festivals, GC brewery workshops, GC beer dinners, and any other 
opportunities to showcase our beer in the community.

Requirements:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule of days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Flexibility to travel, 1-2 days per week.
Must possess strong communication skills.
Must possess strong organizational skills.
This position may also be required to assist the Brew-Master and brew house with any new store openings.

Educational Requirements:
High School Degree or Equivalent
2 Years of Brewery Experience or Equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicles Records background check
