Audio Production Intern
KOPN 89.5 FM Community Radio is seeking an audio production intern from September - December 2019. The primary responsibility will be to work together with staff and volunteers to produce new PSA’s, underwriting, show promos, station IDs, and other audio pieces for broadcast. The intern will also get the opportunity to to learn and operate our air board 2-3 hours each week during national programming (Mon-Fri, 8am - 3pm). Two different audio production studios will be available for use, and training will be provided as needed. Our goal for this internship is to provide the qualified candidate with on-air radio experience and a good foundation of audio production skills that can be used in a variety of careers.
Interns will be expected to work 4-6 hours per week. Approximately 2-3 hours per week will be spent operating the air board during national programming, with the other 2-3 hours per week being spent on audio production.
