Community Ambassador - Leasing Agent

PHILLIPS MANAGEMENT, a leading full-service Student Housing Property Management Company, has a Community Ambassador opening at The Falls of Columbia and Cross Creek Villas. The Falls of Columbia and Cross Creek Villas are student living communities owned by PHILLIPS Management and values dynamic individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work through challenges that arise during the year. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in the property management field to join a privately held company with substantial potential for career growth.

The CA serves as an initial contact for current and prospective residents and leads in creating great customer experiences. The CA is responsible for touring, leasing and renewing apartments, completing the leasing process, and building and maintaining resident relations. This individual must be outgoing, driven and able to meet specific monthly/weekly/leasing goals.
Our expectations of you in this role:
Market/Product Knowledge - Gain a thorough understanding of the property, local colleges, and competition
Sales Process- Ability to establish a relationship with prospects, identify and sell around individual needs, close the prospect and turn them into a resident
Property Tours - Knowledgeable around the overall product and selling the product while guiding a potential prospect on a tour
Prospect Management - Managing the relationship and follow up of the prospect throughout the sales and leasing process
Networking - Develop relationships with community and engage in various events, in order to network for marketing and sales opportunities
Social Media - Use social media tools to increase exposure ands sale and create brand advocates
Leasing administration--Assist in all back-end leasing activity and ensure timely input and accurate reporting
Resident Retention activities - create, conduct and participate in resident retention activities to help achieve a 40% renewal rate
Operations - Participate as needed in operational needs, including the turn of units
Required Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a leadership role
High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Very comfortable with Apple & Google Chrome Operating Systems
Demonstrated a proven track record of success in a leasing/sales/recruitment process
Should have some knowledge of industry software systems; preferably Entrata
