Jones Household - Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Job Description:
I am currently seeking a compassionate, highly-skilled, and reliable personal care assistant (PCA) for employment. In this role, you will assist me in my home, helping provide professional care and assistance to help further my independence and ensure my overall well-being.
*Travel to clients’ homes, arriving on time
*Greet clients in a warm, professional manner
*Provide basic domestic services e.g. meal prep, laundry, light housework
*Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the clients
*Assist with mobility issues, helping client get in and out of bed, wheelchair, etc.
*Help with personal hygiene e.g. brushing teeth, toileting, bathing
*Assist with all daily activities, based on my limitations and needs
*Provide caring and positive presence
Wage: $10/per hr
Work schedule:
Weeknights 6pm-8pm or 7pm-9pm (flexible)
Weekend Mornings 8am-10am or 9am-11am (flexible)
Qualifications:
*High school diploma or equivalent required
*Valid driver’s license, reliable automobile, and current auto insurance required
*Minimum one year of experience working in healthcare setting
*Significant in- home healthcare working experience strongly preferred
*Good communication skills
*Experience with Hoyer Lift and or willingness to learn use
*Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
*Willingness to conduct domestic and personal tasks requested
*Prompt and reliable
*Warm and caring personality
*Commitment to treating me and any others in household with dignity and respect
