Centralized Hiring Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform a variety of clerical, support and human resources activities, including recruiting, marketing, screening, interviewing, selecting, submitting data to create ePAF, giving access to Online Orientation modules in Canvas, scheduling department and unit in-person orientation sessions. Students lead in communicating with student applicants, to schedule interviews and follow up regarding completion of online orientation and in-person orientation, as well as notifying full-time management staff of unit orientations. Assist in creating and adding information to student personnel files, and submitting data for promotions, salary changes and terminations.

 QUALIFICATIONS:    Sophomore or Junior Business or Hospitality Management major with an emphasis in Human Resources; detail oriented with proven track record of accuracy; self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Preferred: able to continue working over the summer months, up to 28 hours per week. Experience working as a student employee of Campus Dining Services.
                  
SCHEDULE: 10 – 15 hours per week, Monday – Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Will work with successful applicant’s class schedule.

STARTING SALARY: $ 9.21/hr.
