Production Management Intern

What will you do?
  • Gain valuable experience in the manufacturing of Pet Food with the leading pet specialty pet food manufacturer firsthand as you work within the Production Operations team.
  • Leave a lasting impact while working on a project designed to make a true impact on the business.
  • Present your recommendations and innovative ideas to Merrick Pet Care leaders.
  • Develop and grow your skills with the support of a caring manager and dedicated mentor.

What will you need?
  • Sophomore status pursuing a Bachelors or Master s degree in Engineering (all disciplines), Food Science, Animal Science, Nutrition Science, or other related discipline.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Must be able to produce work in a collaborative, team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge of food processing, food science, nutrition, and food chemistry is a plus!
