Food Startup Business Counselor
You will work directly with the Entrepreneur Coordinator to connect with and onboard diverse food entrepreneurs across Columbia and the surrounding region. Working from the REDI offices downtown and the community commercial kitchen in development you will have some autonomy to design & test your own programs and initiatives to help serve this audience.
Beyond Meat came out of Food Science at MIzzou and part of its manufacturing is still in town. We've also helped spaek Start Right Foods along with many other local/regional food companies.
Clients you will serve with our team:
- Restauranteurs
- Food Products
- Snacks
- Caterers
- Food Trucks
- Weird things we don't even konw about yet
You willl be given responsibility to create processes and systems to recreate this position for the next intern.
You will be given acces and lattitude across our web and social channels to connect with food entreprenuers.
As our commercial space opens you will be an integral part of clients applying to the food HUB.
You will be trained as a business advisor and how to work with entreprenuerss to help them refine and develop their business.
