Position Summary
Rally House is accepting resumes for our Buyer in Training (BIT) position! As part of the BIT position, you will spend the first part of your employment working in the retail store. You will have regular check-ins with the Head Merchant and the Store Manager to assess your progress and performance. During this time you will get a better understanding of the business, the product, and our customer.
Upon successful completion of the store training, you will have the potential to be moved into a Buying Assistant position. This is the first step into a Buying career and allows BIT's to gain extensive product knowledge of all Rally House vendors and assist Junior Buyers with data accuracy in regards to reporting, product description, website content, marketing layouts and imaging.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide data entry support to buyers
- Ensure all items have correct taxonomy and product description
- Ensure all copy is free from error (such as basic typos, etc.)
- Update website with content, edits and new product information
- Work with vendor partners to get images on a daily basis
- Reviews products, pricing and text in marketing layouts
- Run reports for buyers as needed
- Ensure all items have photos
- Work in stores periodically to better understand our customers
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing or related field
- 1 – 2 years of retail experience preferably in a management role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Works well under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Quick learner and problem solver
- Highly reliable and self-confident
- Proven ability to think strategically and conceptually
