Marketing Research Manager

Job Summary

As our Marketing Research Manager, you’ll lead the Research and Measurement team that is responsible for the collection, assessment, and presentation of consumer and brand centric data and campaign measurement You leadership will help guide our Client Services and Business Development Teams through in developing and executing winning strategies.




Daily Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and create compelling external and internal facing presentations
  • Manages research process, data sourcing architecture (non-technical) data analysis and associated reporting
  • Perform quality assurance on team’s deliverables
  • Help cultivate an environment that is intellectually curious, inquisitive and data-centric
  • Proactively communicate the key insights from campaign performance to the relevant internal teams; including creating case studies by analyzing past engagement and KPIs
  • Work with Client Services Team to launch/optimize influencer marketing campaigns; including work with Sales Team to understand the underlying drivers of positive and negative performance across our clients


Baseline Skill Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing/Social Science focus preferred)
  • 3 to 5 years marketing research experience in increasingly responsible positions; including 1-2 years managing people
  • Proven analytical ability in assessing information needs, conceptualizing and designing research process/methodology, and implementing research programs
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis of information that may not come directly from specified data sources; priority given to candidates with experience in writing research reports and analysis on specific category/industry trends (ex. hedge funds) and macro-level industry analysis
  • Familiarity with accessing and researching publicly available datasets, APIs, and demographic data
  • Interest in creating and managing a high performing team that has an affinity for collecting data and producing actional insights and hypothesis


 Additional Skills

  • Experience in industry/market research
  • Familiarity with digital advertising eco-system and common tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau
  • Experience with survey software and statistical software (R, SPSS)
  • Knowledge of building brand strategy
