Retail Management Internship
RETAIL MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP
Von Maur is looking for sophomores and juniors interested in Retail Management. We view our Internship Program as a summer-long job interview with the hope of offering our top performing interns a role in our Executive Training Program when they graduate or another internship opportunity for the following summer!
During your Retail Management Internship you will:
- Spend 10 weeks over the summer in a store location working on training, job shadows, and sales goals
- Be assigned to the Cosmetics department and function as an Assistant Department Manager
- Meet with Management weekly and work on assignments/projects that impact business
- Work on a Master Project to present to upper level Management
- Take a trip to the corporate office to shadow a Buyer and get tours of our Distribution Center and E-Commerce
- Take a trip to a store location to present your master project
Things you need to know about the Retail Management Internship:
- Our Management Internship roles are in a store location
- Our Management Internship is for Sophomore and Junior level students
- This is a 10 week Internship Program over the summer
- Students must be able to commit to a full-time schedule (35-40 hours per week)
- Students must be available to work retail hours (nights and weekends)
- We only offer paid internship opportunities
Qualifications:
- Sophomore or Junior Status
- 3.0 GPA
- Retail Experience Preferred
