About the JET Graduate Rotational Experience 
The JetBlue Emerging Talent (JET) Graduate Rotational Program is a 24-month program designed specifically to develop a high-performing talent pipeline for JetBlue. Participants will develop critical leadership & technical skills through rotational assignments, in-depth training, and ongoing coaching. Participants will complete four, six-month rotations. Rotations will comprise of Finance (Financial Planning & Analysis or Treasury), Marketing (Product Development or Marketing Analytics), Support (People Data Insights or IT Digital Management) and Airport Operations.  

These rotational assignments are supplemented with a robust programming including professional development activities, cross-functional projects, senior leader exposure, networking, and service opportunities. Each rotation will provide an excellent learning experience to immerse yourself into the aviation industry in order to develop real-world business solutions that enhance the delivery of strategic business initiatives. Rotational Analyst are able to build relationships with individuals at all levels internal and external to the organization and are passionate about being a JetBlue brand ambassador. Positions are located in New York City.  
Essential Responsibilities: 
  •  Deliver on key department goals and objectives for the company and contribute to the overall success of the company 
  •  Lead the development of materials for current and future programs (i.e. dashboards, communications, workflows, presentations, etc.) 
  •  Utilize visualization and analytics to derive insights from data 
  •  Gathering, consolidating, and analyzing operating and financial results 
  •  Maintain core reporting and analytics infrastructure and models while proactively surfacing opportunities 
  •  Analyze large datasets and partner with business units to interpret findings and identify actionable insights and opportunities 
  •  Develop processes and partner with internal customers and business partners  
  •  Lead business analysis and competitive analysis 
  •  Participate in a cross-functional team projects  
  •  Research, create presentations, provide recommendations and insights on industry best practices  
  •  Other duties as assigned 
Minimum Experience and Qualifications: 
  •  Recent graduate from a Masters level or above from an accredited university between August 2019 and May 2020
  •  Two (2) years of prior business related work experience  
  •  Available for employment beginning July 2020 
  •  Able to secure local housing
  •  Must be able to travel and/or work variable hours, flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends
  •  Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge
  •  Must commit to completing the two years of the program
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office  
  •  Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism 
  •  Organized with the ability to multi-task 
  •  Verbal and written communication skills 
  •  Proven record of academic, professional, or leadership achievement 
  •  Ability to prioritize tasks and recognize when escalation is necessary 
  •  Ability to collaborate in a team environment 
  •  Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)  
  •  Able to provide official transcript and pass a pre-employment drug test 
  •  Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located 
Preferred Experience and Qualifications 
  • Passionate about innovation, the airline industry, and JetBlue 
  • Project Management experience 
  • Software and programming experience 
Crewmember Expectations:  
  • Regular attendance and punctuality  
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice 
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance 
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft 
  • Organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun 
  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards 
  • Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))

  • Normal Office Environment 
Physical Effort:   
  • Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to fifty (50) pounds frequently and/or seventy to one hundred (70-100) pounds occasionally with the assistance of other people or tools.
