Transaction Services Associate - Financial Advisory Services

Flexible Start Dates: ASAP or June 2020 as corresponds with graduation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute financial and accounting due diligence:
- Prepare analyses of financial historical earnings, forecasts, assets and liabilities of target companies;
- Assist in identifying risks and issues related to contemplated transactions;
- Perform industry and company research;
- Assist in composing due diligence reports;
- Be a part of the project team:
- Prepare excel-based work product as a key part of deal-related analyses;
- Present preliminary identified risks to your supervisors;
- Receive on-the-job training from your supervisors;
- Assist in developing proposal documents for potential new clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- Strong academic credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
- Capability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment either independently or within a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in a professional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, extensive knowledge and experience with Excel is preferable
- Basic knowledge of technical accounting areas
- Flexibility to travel, as needed (up to 20%)
- A plus would be prior experience as intern working in either an audit or consulting environment, preferably including transaction advisory services experience
