Jumpstart is a Language, Literacy, and Social-Emotional tutoring program focusing on preschool aged children (3-5 yrs) with limited resources. Tutors serve in preschool classrooms in the community (transportation is available).
Jumpstart tutors serve 11 hours per week, and earn $11.00 per hour in Work-Study wages (or earn 6 credit hours of Course Credit toward graduation), as well as receive the AmeriCorps Education Award of $1280.00 after completion of service! Availability is needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2:30pm-7:30pm, as well as flexible times throughout the week. 10-20 hour time commitment per week.
