CAFNR Alumni Association Intenrship

 
POSITION:                            CAFNR Alumni Student Intern

SALARY:                              Hourly Payment ($9.00 an hour)

LOCATION:                          On-Campus. The position will start at the beginning of the 2020 Spring semester.

DESCRIPTION:                    This part-time position requires the individual to be of at least sophomore standing (by Spring 2020) and enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. If selected, you must be willing to work approximately 10-20 hours per week (potentially more as events approach). Work schedule can be altered to your class schedule. Potential applicants should be both highly motivated and organized. This position will require occasional weekend meetings and activities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:           The CAFNR Alumni Association is seeking a self-starter to assist in the planning and coordination of CAFNR Alumni Association activities and events. The intern will be responsible for working with the alongside the alumni coordinator and a 35-member board of directors to carry out a variety of tasks including financial reporting and data management, event planning, administrative tasks, correspondence, and collaboration with other interns and staff members. The selected individual will be expected to attend all CAFNR Alumni Board meetings and activities. Including:
 
·        CAFNR Tiger Classic & Steak Fry (September 2020)
·        September Board Meeting (September 2020)
·        CAFNR Week Bonfire
·        Homecoming Tailgate (October 24, 2020)
·        CAFNR Unlimited Banquet and Auction (February 22, 2020)
·        Other events and board meetings throughout the year.
