We are searching for qualified students to be a part of our summer internship program. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to...
  • Participate with Advisor in select client meetings
  • Record client/ Advisor meeting notes and necessary follow-ups
  • Participate with the production of client financial reviews, asset allocation reports and presentations
  • Rebalance client investment portfolios
  • Mutual Fund/ETF research and analysis
  • Introduction to client acquisition and financial marketing
  • Help with research and creation of financial illustrations to be used in client meetings
  • Researching client financial planning issues and presenting findings
  • Research and create articles for Client communications, Website posting, E Bulletins, and E Blasts
  • Research financial planning software analysis
  • Conduct cost analysis research
  • Work with our Technicians to create forms, reports, data and research for Advisor - Client meetings
  • Help design and construct financial plans and financial strategies in concert with Advisors and Technicians
  • Create presentations for client meetings and strategic business partners
  • Perform portfolio administration with regard to client data, contributions and withdrawals
  • Help with weekly preparation for meetings
  • Respond to client requests for service and trouble-shoots service issues
  • Establish client files and maintains client data in CRM program

What we look for in a candidate
  • Enrolled in an accredited university and currently a junior.
  • Preferred candidates are pursuing a degree or a minor in Financial Planning
  • Self-directed, ability to handle new tasks independently
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Strong general computer skills - Proficient in MS Office programs, excellent in Excel
  • Highly organized, analytical, and attentive to details
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Research experience from academic coursework
  • Candidate will preferably be interested in a career in personal financial planning
  • Solid communication skills both verbal and written
  • Candidates should be within a 20 mile radius of our office
