Internship Opportunity
Selected students will participate in a meaningful and challenging 10-week summer internship that will allow each intern to have exposure to different facets of the business, receive critical skills, career and personal development training. Interns will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects within a cross functional team of professionals and get exposure to leaders within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
The Finance/Accounting Interns will have the opportunity to experience general corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, internal audit, IT finance and much more. Possible responsibilities include:
 
 
  • Re-vamping the Milestone ROI models to become less dependent on Quantrix
  • Use ROI model to evaluate new product develop projects as well as evaluate product the product road within the department
  • Utilize Margin Analytic trending in relationship to ROI models/capital spending, pricing, and promotions
  • Lead FAR approval reporting, monthly cost tracking against approved FARs, and ad-hoc analysis for vendor spend within the Infrastructure budget
  • Review processes for compliance with policies
  • Provide internal communications about our investments through the Stanley internal website
 
Our Requirements:
 
 
  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Finance and or Accounting at a college or university level
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA upon graduation
  • Proven Leadership in and out of the classroom
  • Fast learner and someone that takes the initiative
  • An active participant on a team or in a collaborative environment
  • Strong Knowledge/Skills of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communications and presentations skills
  • Must either be based in Connecticut or willing to relocate for the duration of the internship
