Intern: Risk Management/Business Continuity

Projects

  • Perform Threat and Risk Assessment and Business Recovery Plan transfer to new platform
  • Update and enhance the Risk Management/Business Continuity website
  • Convert department documents to electronic files
  • Build presentations for several Risk Management processes:
  • Develop a Crisis Management presentation template for members to share their experience and outcomes from CM exercises with their Staff
  • Research Risk Management claims dashboards and develop proposals for two to three formats

Responsibilities

  • Support business continuity with scheduling and documenting the Global Business Impact Analysis and Department Business Impact Analysis results
  • Analyze Business Continuity and Crisis Management documentation, testing and reporting
  • Support regional Threat and Risk Assessment documentation and reporting
  • Assist with the global insurance program renewal
  • Take on ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Must be a student in good academic standing currently enrolled in an accredited college/ university
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills as well as communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven organizational skills, detailed orientated, and can work well on their own
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
