Cyber Security Threat Intelligence

Summary of Position
During the summer program, the intern will partner with our Senior Threat Intelligence manager to identify opportunities to help automate and mature Kimberly-Clark's threat space. The intern will assist with threat data collection along with correlation and analysis to identify existing threats. Once identified the intern will then work with the stakeholder teams to drive mitigations for the identified threats. The intern will then have the opportunity to prepare and communicate the results in a clear and concise manner for CS&A Leadership
The CS&A Threat Intelligence intern will gain exposure to the following areas:
  • Threat data gathering
  • Data cleansing
  • Threat research including dark web
  • Developing threat hunting procedures 
  • Professional presentation
  • Splunk
  • Current Junior to Grad Student pursuing a Cyber focused degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Network or endpoint security experience
  • Solid understanding of Internet fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP)
  • Linux command line
  • Critical thinking and ability to interrogate results
  • Communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solid knowledge of PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience during college years
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Transportation to work location
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
