HR Coordinator
We are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our Nursing Home located in Harlem, NY.
This individual needs to be organized, able to work in a fast paced environment and work well with others. Salary is based on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assistant the Administrator with day-to-day functions of the facility, its program and activities
- Plan and conducts new employee orientation, communication changes
- Manage communication with employment candidates
- Arrange phone interviews and scheduling of in-person interviews
- Responsible for entering all new hire information into our applicant tracking system
- Establish a rapport in and among department so that each can realize the importance of teamwork
- Responsible for entering all status changes ad profile changes in a timely manner that is set forth by the pay roll department
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational and staff member information
- Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are followed when conducting background checks and when providing information to the Nurse Aide Registry
- Terminate employment of personnel when necessary
Requirements:
- A four- year Bachelor's degree from accredited College or University
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must possess the analytical skills to communicate with diverse healthcare staff
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with constant interruptions
