HR Coordinator

We are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our Nursing Home located in Harlem, NY.
This individual needs to be organized, able to work in a fast paced environment and work well with others. Salary is based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assistant the Administrator with day-to-day functions of the facility, its program and activities
  • Plan and conducts new employee orientation, communication changes
  • Manage communication with employment candidates
  • Arrange phone interviews and scheduling of in-person interviews
  • Responsible for entering all new hire information into our applicant tracking system
  • Establish a rapport in and among department so that each can realize the importance of teamwork
  • Responsible for entering all status changes ad profile changes in a timely manner that is set forth by the pay roll department
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational and staff member information
  • Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are followed when conducting background checks and when providing information to the Nurse Aide Registry
  • Terminate employment of personnel when necessary
Requirements:
  • A four- year Bachelor's degree from accredited College or University
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must possess the analytical skills to communicate with diverse healthcare staff
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with constant interruptions
