CLUB MGMT & FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUMMER INTERNSHIP - LEVEL 2

The Club Management (LEVEL 2) Internship provides interns with training in all areas of the Club’s day-to-day operations with a deeper focus on Food and Beverage. Interns will be exposed to Grounds & Greens, Golf, Accounting, and Back of House operations. Interns will be fully trained in all food and beverage areas and given the opportunity to train in supervisory roles. Elements of success will include knowledge of all dining menus, ingredients, preparation techniques and wine and beverage menus, as well as a complete understanding of daily, weekly, and monthly club events. Interns will be assigned tasks and projects to promote leadership and management growth. The majority of time is spent working with the Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, and Level 1 Food and Beverage Mentee to ensure that all club dining facilities operate at the high level Shoreacres is known for.

College students pursuing Private Club Management with previous Food and Beverage or Private Club experience, or candidates who have completed the Shoreacres Level 1 Food and Beverage Internship. Candidates must to be able to work varied hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential overtime. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs. without restriction, withstand long periods of walking/ being on their feet, close quarters and varied temperatures. 

A strong desire to pursue the Club Management careerpath.
