IJM Global Internships & Fellowships - September 2020

Orientation Week: June 8th - June 11th, 2020 at IJM Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

International Justice Mission is a global organization that protects the poor from violence throughout the developing world.

IJM partners with local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems.

We combat slavery, sex trafficking, property grabbing, police abuse of power and sexual violence in nearly 20 communities throughout Africa & Europe, Latin America and South and Southeast Asia.

Our vision is to rescue millions, protect half a billion, and make justice for the poor unstoppable.
 
Positions may be available in: Manila, Philippines; Cebu, Philippines; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Bangkok, Thailand; Chiang Mai, Thailand; Bangalore, India; Kolkata, India; Chennai, India; Delhi, India; Mumbai, India; Nairobi, Kenya; Kampala, Uganda; Gulu, Uganda; Accra, Ghana; Romania; La Paz, Bolivia; Guatemala City, Guatemala; or Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Not every position will be available in every office.

Requirements

Internship Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Organizational and administrative skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software and Windows strongly preferred; and
  • Fluency in Spanish required for Latin America offices.
Fellowship Qualifications
  • Master's degree;
  • Experience or exposure to program design and development;
  • Training or experience in trauma counseling preferred;
  • Experience addressing poverty and livelihood issues; and
  • Fluency in Spanish required for Latin American offices.
