Payroll & HR Administrator

The Payroll & HR Administrator manages the full-cycle payroll functions by processing bi-weekly payroll and managing all changes, reporting, reconciliations, and audits. Provides a variety of administrative support to human resources function and other HR generalist duties.

Qualifications:  
• Associates Degree from college or technical school or five years direct related experience required. 

• Minimum of one (1) year experience with ADP including Workforce Now Time & Attendance required.  

• Prior experience with full-cycle payroll functions, state and federal reporting, and audits required.  

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with temporary staffing, multi-state payroll and multiple sites preferred. Experience with a global company a plus.   

• Proficient personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS systems.

• Detail oriented, ability to work with confidential information, and excellent interpersonal skills.  




Essential Job Requirements:
• Preparing and processing companywide bi-weekly payroll including reconciling data, balancing deductions, reporting, calculating exceptions, resolving issues, analyzing transactions and transmitting final payroll.

• Serve as payroll and time & attendance resource to company and company leaders; ensure accurate time and attendance data for purposes of reporting, decision making and tracking of paid leave thru payroll 

• Ensure documentation for various payroll related actions; create financial, tax and payroll reports; process year-end reporting (W-2, ACA); prepare timely and accurate headcount reports; prepare audit records. 

• Serve as resource for supervisors’ contingent workforce needs; serve as staffing agency point of contact for negotiating contracts and work order fulfillment; set up and maintain records with HR, Finance and hiring managers; conduct regular audits of contingent workforce program for effectiveness 

• Manage Service Awards program; edit and proofread company documents as needed; assist with new hire orientation; manage production of company organization charts; may assist with employee badge system.
