Hospitality /Event Planning Internship
Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non profit big cat rescue and educational facility that provides permanent lifelong care for abused, neglected or unwanted big cats. As a true sanctuary, we do not buy, sell, breed or trade any of our animals; we believe they deserve to live the rest of their lives in a healthy and caring environment. It is our goal to provide our animals with exceptional physical and mental care as well as educating the public about the growing captive wildlife crisis. Applicants must be self-motivated, detail oriented and have the ability to work in teams and individually. Applicants working towards a degree in Hospitality, Event Planning or related field are preferred, but other areas of study may be considered. Internships run 3 months.
Required Tasks
- Assisting guests with reservations
- Marketing the Sanctuary lodging
- Coordinating on and off site events
- Community outreach
- Cleaning the Sanctuary lodging
Free housing is provided by the Sanctuary. Amenities include heat, A/C, utilities paid, full bath, kitchen, washer/dryer, satellite TV and wifi.
