Summer Internship program - Editorial Intern
Medford, 10 weeks full time from 8th June 2020 until 14th August 2020
We’re looking for a diverse group of highly talented recent graduates and final year students to apply for our paid 10-week Summer Internship.
Successful candidates will work on a project-based assignment within one of our Editorial teams for the duration of the internship.
Roles to include:
- Learn about the journal Impact Factor, and create annual Impact Factor/bibliometric reports to be delivered to society clients and journal editors
- Pull requisite data from Wiley systems (such as download data, citation data, production data, financial information, and marketing activities) and use this data in creating editorial board reports for society clients and journal editors
- Make updates to journal homepages using the Page Builder platform
- Participate in team meetings and discussions
- Work on bespoke projects, such as assisting with creating journal strategy day documents and presentation slides, performing rejected article analyses, and researching queries
- Meet with other Wiley departments and colleagues to gain a strong understanding of the scholarly publishing industry and the Wiley organization
Skills Required:
- Enrolled in or completed either a BA or MA program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Our ten-week summer internship runs from 8th June 2020 until 14th August 2020
Criteria:
- Graduating between May 2020 and January 2021
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Be authorized to live and work full time in the US unrestricted after graduation
- Must be able to work 40 hours week throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship in Medford
