Contract Specialist
Job Description:
- Responsible for maintaining and documenting all public purchasing contracts and related files; works with vendors and departments to resolve performance problems and/or complaints during contract administration.
- Tracks and maintains the County’s Master Contract List, Term and Supply List, vendor lists and answer Freedom of Information Act and Sunshine Law requests.
- Responsible for the administration of contracts and bids, draft various correspondence, maintain purchasing files, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field and three to five years of purchasing and/or administrative experience in an office setting.
- National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) certification preferred.
- Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
