Want to learn the tricks of the trade in the Insurance World! We’re looking for an intern that is interested in gaining hands on experience in the exciting world of Insurance. In this internship you will learn about the various functional units of an insurance company. This internship will be a complement to the new course being offered at the University of Missouri – Managing an Insurance Company (Finance 4201).
During this experience you will get access to many different departments including but not limited to:
· Claims
· Safety & Risk Services
· Sales/Marketing
· Underwriting
· Premium Consultation
After you’ve learned about each department, you will have the opportunity to spend an extended time in one area working alongside of industry professionals and contributing to the success of a project or work process.
