Loan Processor

Robert Half is currently staffing for a Loan Processor with a major financial institution in Earth City, MO.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm 

The Loan Processor will be processing mortgage loans from the time of application through final approval, maintaining contact with all internal and external parties, and receiving/reviewing all necessary documents Other duties include (but are not limited to): 

• Orders all third items necessary for loan file, insurance, verification of employment, verification of mortgage/rents, and credit supplements

• Main point of contact with the borrower, keeping them updated of the status of their loan, following up on conditions, and answering questions/concerns

• Reviews preliminary title reports/title commitments/appraisal reports/insurance policies to ensure they meet all requirements

• Prepares loan file for initial/final underwriting review and for delivery to our closing department

Skills/Requirements: 

• BS/BA in Finance or related field preferred

• Prior experience in Loan Processing process is preferred

• Recent Grads will be considered

• Expertise in Mortgage concepts; Working knowledge of major US Mortgage Regulations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with internal and external parties to resolve issues
