Internship: Restructuring & Turnaround

This position is posted on behalf of our partner, EY, in Stockholm, Sweden. The candidate will have a mentor on site and the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce will assist in finding housing, insurance and other important matters.

The Position
You have the opportunity for an internship that covers 2-3 months during the Fall when you will work as part of the team. During your internship, your analytical ability will be challenged. You will participate in sharp projects and thus gain a good insight into what the role of a consultant at EY means. As an intern you have a supervisor who gives you continuous feedback and follows your development. The role is full time. We act as advisors to lenders and owners of companies with financial and operational problems, as well as providing services on improving working capital and cash management. We also offer services in connection with real estate transactions. Our clients include leading banks, international corporations and Private Equity funds. Our focus is on helping our clients find solutions in critical financial situations, which include:

· Independent review of a company's financial, operational and commercial conditions in stressful situations

· Critical review of business plans, including identification, recommendations and implementation of operational and financial measures

· Cash flow analysis and advice on short-term liquidity improvement measures

· Negotiation support and stakeholder management

Requirements


· Prospective business economist (or equivalent) with very good academic record and knowledge in financial economics as well as accounting

· Strong interest in the transaction market and strategic issues with corporate management, lenders and owners

· Solution-oriented attitude in combination with strong drive

· High work capacity and ability to deliver under time pressure

· Good communicator, both in writing and orally

· Good habit of working in Excel and Powerpoint

· Planned degree in 2021 or earlier
