Fall 2020 Nonprofit Management Intern

Successful interns will gain experience in: daily operations of a small AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) accredited nonprofit organization, creating daily work schedules, coordinating groups for tourist attractions, and will assist the management team with various projects. Interns will assist with opening and closing duties, help welcome and coordinate self-guided group visits, provide supervision and leadership to visitor services and admissions volunteers, strive to provide Butterfly House visitors with an excellent experience, and assist Butterfly House staff with various special events. 
Qualifications:
·        Strong communication skills
·        Ability to take leadership
·        Desire to interact with the public.
·        Finished at least one year of college.
Requirements:
140 hours of intern work completed over the course of the internship. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
