Case Manager, Family Preservation Services (Tier 2)

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Case Manager, Family Preservation Services works with families who are in need of short-term stabilization for existing or emergent safety risks or longer-term support to maintain stabilization. The Case Manager will work in the home of the family to teach them life skills to remain safe together. The key responsibilities of this position include carrying a caseload of up to 12 Tier 2 families. In this role, it is essential to demonstrate the ability to be professional and effectively communicate with other service providers.  Being able to teach and model skills directly with families are expected. Knowing the signs of abuse and how to testify in family court is fundamental to the requirements of this role.  
 
QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum requirements for this role is a Bachelor degree from an accredited university in Social Work or related field, and you must be licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board to practice in Kansas, (2) two years of experience in child and family services and have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work on several tasks concurrently, and attention to details and deadlines are essential to this position. Must pass a background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
