Commercial Payer Quality Intern (remote allowed)

We are actively recruiting for a Commercial Payer Quality Intern to support Aledade’s effort to share patient-level quality reports with practices participating in value-based care contracts. This is a temporary role for 3-6 months working 25-40 hours per week with a start date in April 2020. Under the direction of Performance, Clinical, and Field teams, the Intern will generate monthly reports for practices participating in value-based contracts to enable primary care practices to be successful in commercial payer quality programs. This Intern must be detail-oriented, service-oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and fluent in Google Suite tools such as Google Sheets. 

We are looking for individuals who genuinely believe that Aledade’s model of physician-led ACO's can improve quality and lower cost. This role can be based out of Bethesda, MD or work remotely within the US. 

Your footprint: 

  • Receive training on payer-specific quality programs and become familiar with practice workflows for addressing quality measures
  • Generate monthly patient-level quality reports to be shared with practices in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate with Performance, Clinical, and Field teams to enable practice success in commercial payer programs
  • Virtually attend meetings with Aledade internal team and with payers as needed

What we value: 
  • You have prior internship experience and a strong record of academic success 
  • You have Bachelor level degree 
  • You are experienced in using Google Sheets as a data management tool and comfortable writing Google Sheets formulas
  • You are passionate about healthcare and interested in making a positive impact in the field
  • You are a self-starter who is able to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • You are reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated to produce work that meets high standards
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining focus on key goals.
