Campus Dining Services - Student Positions
Campus Dining Servcies is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2020 semester. We look forward to interviewing and hiring many new team members as we prepare for a busy Fall, meeting the needs of all our hungry Tigers.
Depending on the specific position, duties may include:
Preparing food according to instructions by following proper food handling techniques.
Assisting with completing the Serving Line Worksheets.
Set up service/preparation areas as assigned.
Clean and replenish the service/preparation areas, dining room, and dishwashing/pot-and-pan areas during and after service.
Set up and tear down events.
Set up the dish machine and, if applicable, the pot-and-pan washing station.
Disassemble and clean/maintain the dish machine.
Ensure access of authorized customers and/or process payment for goods and services in operations.
Accurately process dining plan and credit card sales transactions.
Display positive customer service skills by providing high-quality service to customers; assist in meeting the department's customer service objectives.
Record sales data.
Assist in receiving all food items, paper goods, and other related supplies.
Store all received items per guidelines.
Keep storage area secure while on duty.
Assist in taking the inventory of storerooms, coolers and freezers.
Keep docks, receiving, storage and laundry areas in order.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe and secure working area.
Complete required training.
Help the department constantly improve and reach its vision.
Perform other duties as assigned.
