Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Translate documents into the target language
  • Create documents (marketing materials, presentations, spreadsheets, databases, flowcharts) in the target language
  • Handle special projects or confidential memos or letters
  • Operate word processing and transcribing equipment
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures, and technologies
  • Demonstrated cultural knowledge of the target language
  • Demonstrated ability to speak and write source and target language

Additional Information:

Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a REQUIREMENT for this position at the Advanced-High or Superior level. Successful applicants must qualify on Spanish and English reading and writing ACTFL proficiency assessments prior to starting the position. 

*Bilingual pay differential applies to this position. Employees also qualify for a one-time in-language bonus of $1000 (less taxes). Our compensation programs are always evolving and are subject to change. 
*Competitive applicants should have at least 1 or more years of previous work experience in the translation of documents 

* The selected applicant must successfully complete a background check and drug screening before assuming the position

Applicants must be willing to work flexible work shifts during our operating hours (Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm CST). Days and hours of operation are subject to change. Flexibility in work schedule is needed. 

This position is located at CityLine 1201 State Street Richardson, TX 75082

Additional Details:
  • Incumbent may work irregular hours based on workload and job requirements
  • Incumbent must be willing to work flexible work shifts
  • There is a 12 month incumbency period (beginning on the effective date in this position) which must be met before the incumbent can post, or be considered, for any other lateral or promotional opportunities within State Farm. After the first 12 months the incumbent will be eligible to post for other State Farm opportunities.
