In-Home Care CNA/PCA/HHA
We have several CNA/HHA/PCA caregiver positions open in Columbia, Missouri and the surrounding area. We encourage all students interested in health related fields to apply. Right at Home supports all students in their academic endeavors and will allow this to be used for class credit.
Essential Functions:
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
- Ambulation
- Eating
- Dressing
- Bathing/Shaving
- Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
- Medication reminders
Performs light homemaking activities
Provides companionship which may include accompanying client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Ability to read, write, and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- All new hires must successfully pass background check
- 3 professional references
- CNA/PCA/HHA certification
Schedule:
- Full time and part time hours available / Monday-Friday and weekends
- Mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights
