Event Staff Assistant
Summary: Assisting with crowd management at events. These events include, sporting events, trade shows, concerts, and other events within the Mizzou Sports Park.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Greet guests as they enter the facility;
- Assist guests with questions;
- Maintain a high level of professionalism;
- Ensure guest safety
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee should also have the following qualifications:
- Experience/Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be able to comply with the University of Missouri's workplace policy

Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, during events, the noise level may be loud;
- Position requires working on evenings, and weekends as required;
- Position requires working in outdoor conditions, as needed.
- Position requires working in outdoor weather conditions, frequently being exposed to extreme temperatures (extreme heat/cold/snow/rain)
