Digital Outreach Intern (remote position)

The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) is currently looking for a Digital Outreach Intern. This is a one year, full-time, remote position starting Fall 2020.

Job Description: This is a one-year internship starting in September/October 2020 and ending in September/October 2021. The intern will assist with a variety of digital communications and outreach activities with a specific emphasis on CRM list management, including measuring and optimizing email delivery and creating and conducting re-engagement campaigns. Other duties include assisting in creating social media and events to grow CEPR’s online presence, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: We are looking for applicants with an interest in, and who have experience or studies in, working with CRMs — EveryAction is a plus, but not required — and Twitter and Facebook. Familiarity and comfort working with graphic design and/or video editing software is helpful. Interns must have an interest in progressive messaging on the economy and a commitment to a just, inclusive, and robust economy that delivers opportunity and dignity to all. The intern will need to be able to work in a fast-paced work culture with limited supervision and should be a self-starter and independent learner. Spanish language fluency preferred but not required.

Compensation: CEPR is committed to offering an internship program that allows people from all backgrounds to participate. The internship pays $2,475 per month, offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, and provides life insurance.
